Health data compiled from
more than 190 countries show heart disease remains the No. 1 global cause of
death with 17.3 million deaths each year, according to Heart Disease and
Stroke Statistics — 2015 Update: A Report from the American Heart Association. That number is expected
to rise to more than 23.6 million by 2030.
Stroke remains the No. 2
cause of death in the world. The stroke death rate — the number of deaths per
100,000 people — went down between 1990 and 2010. However, the number of people
having first and recurrent strokes each year went up, reaching 33 million in
2010.
Alarming Statistics in the Philippines
Each
year, 170,000 Filipinos die from cardiovascular diseases, up from 85,000 more
than 20 years ago (DOH, 2009).
These
are the deaths that do not make headlines, but diseases of the heart and the
vascular system have remained the top two causes of death in the country since
1993.
Vitamin C for Heart Disease
A growing body of evidence show that intake of Vitamin C is linked to a decrease
risk of heart disease. Dr. James Enstrom (University of California) studied the vitamin intake
of over 11,000 people for 10 years. He found that 300mg of vitamin C a day reduced
risk of heart disease by 50 percent in men and 40 percent in women.
“Low levels of vitamin C in the blood are linked to a more severe form of peripheral artery disease, an often painful condition in which the leg blood vessels become blocked.” - Circulation Journal of the American Heart Association
Dr. Linus Pauling’s Non-prescription Cure
"I
think we can get almost complete control of
cardiovascular disease, heart attacks and strokes
by the proper use of (Vitamin C) ... even cure it."
PS: Pauling’s specific therapy for cardiovascular and
heart diseases are high dosage of this essential nutrient called Vitamin C. It is clear that the fruits (i.e., mango, calamansi, pineapple, papaya and guava) rich in Vitamin C in SJ5 is necessary for vascular health. It is also recommended that you take HCI CMD and CBF for you to achieve optimum nutrition.cardiovascular disease, heart attacks and strokes
